A strip of flower-rich grassland alongside Parndon Brook in Great Parndon, Harlow, bounded by mature woodland. It has yellow rattle, common spotted orchid, wild carrot and grass vetchling. There are plenty of butterflies in summer, including the brown argus.

Visiting

Accessed from Paycock Road in the west of Harlow, near to the junction with Katherine's Way (A1169).

Accessible at all times.

June and July for wild flowers and butterflies.
